Bought Used Airpods, No Setting for "Automatically Connect to this Device" Being Shown
I recently bought a pair of used Airpod Pros 2nd Generation and I'm having issues with them switching between my iPhone 12, and my Macbook Pro. If I want to use my Airpods with either device, it requires me to disconnect them/forget them from the other device first.
I have confirmed that my iPhone and Mac are updated to the latest IOS on both ends, and no Software Update is being prompted in my settings. My Airpods model is A3000 and the version is 3A283. The device is able to be paired to both my Mac, and my iPhone but not simultaneously. When I go to the Airpod settings on both my Mac, and my iPhone, I'm not able to see the setting to "Connect to this Mac/iPhone." I've tried resetting my Airpods which has been able to pair to my devices again, but has not fixed the settings issue. I thought that maybe the Airpods are still paired to a previous Apple ID, but when I go to Find My... App, I'm able to see my Airpods on the device list which leads me to believe that they're paired to my Apple ID. Also, both my Mac and iPhone use the same Apple ID.
Here is a screenshot of my settings from my iPhone.
