Your Screen is Failing:
If there are lines on the screen, then that mean it so failing. So, aside from contacting Apple Support, you can contact an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider), seeing if it then shows as it should.
How to Contact an AASP:
- Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
- Click: Service & Support
- Enter: your location information
- See: if there is an AASP nearby
- Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the Mac
