Can my IP address location be changed to the state I live in Sioux City Iowa it says I live in Michigan I got locked out of account because I live in Iowa but phone says Michigan please help me figure out wat to do

Your reported location is based on whatever your provider uses for addressing. For example, when I log in to my provider, it lists a nearby city (likely where there is an office or node). If I log into my work network, it shows me in New York, nearly across the country.
Can apple or phone company change it to my state so I can get back into my account
