how to get rid of the pop up for 3 free months of Apple Music

I have no problems with my Mac mini but I cannot get past the pop up that says I get 3 free months of Apple Music and to sign up. This occurs every time I'm on my Mac Air....synched....and try to listen to new music. I don't want to sign up and I don't want to join. I'd like to just be able to go to my music, search for new music and have it play. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

I've always had iTunes on my main computer. Now that I have a laptop as well it's Apple Music I guess. All my music is there and plays but as said, I can't play music I search for to purchase. I do have some other Apple thing that I pay $25 a year for so that I can see all the music I personally put into iTunes. If your suggestion doesn't work I will simply have to call Apple...not going to do any AI chat stuff. Thanks
