How do I lock my AirPods

I synced my air pods to find my and I want to know how to lock them if I lose them

Locking AirPods:

A. No, Locking AirPods is not an option, as of this reply So, recommend this to Apple. To get your word out to Apple on this, you need to provide Apple feedback.  Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - AirPods - Apple - Apple
  2. Select: "Feature Request" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that you want this to be an option and why. Include the URL of this post.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary


For Note:

B. About AirPods and Find My:

If Find My was enabled with these, then note that the location shown is based off of the last time the device they were connected to that itself was connected to the Internet. This is because AirPods are not assigned their own IP Address. So, you cannot lock them, even if you locked your device these were paired with.
