Apple tv mic search not working

I have an Apple TV 3rd generation, with TV ios 17.2 and a 3rd generation Siri remote (with mic button on the side). After the ios update, I am unable to dictate voice search on any 3rd party App like YouTube or Netflix. Eg. On netflix, I select search and highlight 1st alphabet, and then press mic button on the side, it then takes me to Apple TV+ App search section. Before ios update, I was able to dictate search within Netflix using the mic button. How to get that feature back??
