CarPlay navigation apps image blurs and fails completely

I can use my iPhone 15 pro with my Skoda Enjaq vRS 3.2 infotainment with no problems normally, but I’ve now developed an intermittent fault with any navigation app. After a period of time, the image slowly degrades, getting more blurry until it fails completely. If I switch away from CarPlay to another infotainment app, and then back to CarPlay, the nav app continues as normal - but it will increasingly quickly then fail again. Tried with iPhone 12 Pro with no issues.
