if this is a 42 lb silver tower Mac Pro, or a dark cylinder Mac Pro 2013, that information would be helpful to know to make progress.

MacBook Pro, MacBook, or MacBook Air (with built-in display) has a model number printed on the bottom plate in gray ink.

Hello~ Also some advice from a friend of mine…”See if holding Option key at startup shows boot choices. Are you using a Wired USB Keyboard”?

Identify your MacBook Pro model - Apple Support*

*If you don’t have your Mac or it doesn’t start up, use one of these solutions instead:
