If it restarted once, then it shouldn't have a problem restarting again.

If it seems slow or reluctant, Startup in Safe Mode followed by a normal Restart instead of messing around with Disk Utility > Repair. see > Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
Plus always have a good backup or two, before you go messing with any of the macOS Utilities.
