I was working in Disk Utility erasing a partition on an external drive. I have no idea how come I suddenly landed on wiping a partition on my Macintosh internal SSD ! And the system let me erase my mac !!!!
What do I do with this ?
Sorry, total panic here...
You will need to restore from your Time Machine backup.

If it restarted once, then it shouldn't have a problem restarting again.

If it seems slow or reluctant, Startup in Safe Mode followed by a normal Restart instead of messing around with Disk Utility > Repair. see > Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
Plus always have a good backup or two, before you go messing with any of the macOS Utilities.
