Accessibility Permissions aren't kept under macOs Ventura
Hi,
I'm using a MBA M1 with macos 13.6.1 and have this very annoying problem:
When I boot the mac, lots of apps ask me to grant them accessibility permissions.
After I've given them the rights, the apps work until I have to boot again.
Then I have to give them the rights again.
Sometimes (when opening the system settings) I can see the list of the apps and the one that is asking for permissions is there already (marked as active).
Sometimes the list is empty until I reboot once or twice. And no matter what I do, the apps keep asking for permissions I already granted.
I had this also with Monterey, but only once in a while. Now I have it with every boot, which means that every morning I start the computer I've to grant permissions before I can begin to work.
Things I have already tried:
- sudo tccutil reset Accessibility - did not work
- reinstalling the apps - hadn't worked either
- removing com.apple.security.KCN.plist - did not work
- tccutil reset all - did not work
What I haven't tried: Reinstall the whole system, as I've read in some forums, that when people did that, the problem came back after a short while.
The apps that are affected by this problem:
- Alfred 3
- Bartender 4 (also Screen Capture permissions can't be given permanently)
- Default Folder X
- Dropbox
- Logi Options+
- Monitor Control
- Raycast
- Typinator
If anyone has solved this problem already or knows a solution I'd be very glad to learn about that.
Thanks in advance!
