Mac Mini M2 available resolutions on identical monitors are different

I have a new Mac Mini M2, connected to (2) Dell S2722QC monitors, both to USB-C on the Mini. Yet the available resolutions are different. The list of resolutions is identical, except on the first ("Main display") - there is an additional resolution available of 3008x1692. I happen to like this resolution, but when I click on the 2nd monitor (extended display), that resolution disappears and I'm either at 2560x1440 or 3840x2160. Only the one resolution is missing. This is the case even when I enable "show all resolutions". Have no idea why this might be. Thanks for any input.

1) Be sure to stagger the Displays on the TB/USB-C ports.

2) It is normal to have one 6K and one 5K when connecting both to the TB/USB-C ports.

Simultaneously supports up to two displays:

One display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt and one display with up to 5K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt or 4K resolution at 60Hz over HDMI

Additional info - the monitors seem to be detected at different resolutions...

Indeed - I stumbled upon the tech spec after a friend chimed in. Seems its just the way the hardware is, combined with the limits in the way we can scale. Interesting addition to the discussion here:
