No way to type vertical bar (pipe) on Hungarian keyboard layout (Sonoma 14.1.1)

I tried these approaches:

option + í
open keyboard viewer, press option and click on the pipe sign
karabiner

The result is always the same: switching between windows of the same app.

Does anyone have an idea what to do with this?

MacBook Air, macOS 14.1

Thank you so much for your comment!

I tested both Hungarian and English os language, no difference.

BUT! I changed to Hungarian qwerty (from Hungarian which is the qwertz) and you are right, it works! So now I am able to remap keyboard with karabiner.
