How to copy all inserted/linked files to a new directory from within Pages?
When I archive a Pages document once a project is done, I want to keep copies of all the original files associated with a project. So that if the project has to be edited later I have access to the original image files, etc. So that I am able to edit them before updating the Pages file.
But sometimes I cannot locate the original document because so much time has elapsed and I have forgotten where the original files are. Or, because the document includes so many embedded or linked files linked from so many different locations that manually locating and copying them all is extremely laborious.
The option under Files, Advanced, Change File Type, where the linked files are all embedded into a monolithic Pages document is not what I am looking for.
Is there a way to automatically gather up copies of inserted/linked files using Pages to aggregate or to copy them all to a new directory automatically? Say as part of a Save operation?
An operation/button where I ask it to copy all linked and/or embedded files to a “Linked Documents” directory alongside a copy of the Pages document on the same level as the "Linked Documents" directory?
Thanks in advance.
