i cant uninstall grammarly on my macbook air 2021. everytime i try to move it to trash on my ifinder applications it says the app is running. no its not running because i just quit the app. please fix this apple developers this is getting on my nerves i cant message friends or family because this grammarly keyboard icon is always in the way. please fix this problem apple developers

I cannot close Grammarly in order to delete it, Help Please As soon as I made allowed it on my Mac it felt invasive and I just didn't like it so have never given it permission to function. However it constantly messages me and I just want it gone. I can find it in applications. It is on my top of screen menu and pops up every time I open settings. I have looked at heaps of articles but they don't work because I cannot close it or drag it to trash etc. I really dislike this app now Any ideas - can i force it to close somehow and then get rid of it. I cannot find it working anywhere so I don't know what part is open or being used. Thanks for your help

Unable to delete Grammarly from MacBook Air I have scowered the internet for days about how to delete grammarly, It is considered AI at my university and unacceptable and it is so important that I delete it before I start any essays. The issue is it wont close in order for me to trash it. First I attempted to close it regularly, still open. I then force quit it, which still left it open. and then I had to learn what the activity monitor is and force quit those, yet it keeps replacing itself once deleted. Why does it have a recovery feature when its force quit??? what do I force quit to delete that recovery feature? I need to get this off my laptop to I dont get flagged for academic misconduct. These uninstall directions are from the Grammarly site:

Click on the Grammarly button in the menu bar and select Quit.
Go to Finder > Applications.
Find Grammarly for Mac on the list and move it to Trash (or Bin).
