Ringtone not working

"Ringtone not working: Have downloaded ringtones and they play. However when I set them as a ringtone they show up as the correct tone but do not play it reverts to a previous ringtone. Tried all suggestions but nothing is working. I phone 14 plus latest IOS."

Troubleshooting Ringtone Issues:

A. Start Here: Use Tones and Ringtones with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

B. Add Back the App:

If this was created using an app, then reinstall the app. If it currently is installed, then uninstall it, and then re-download it form the App Store. If it Is not installed, then install it.

C. Contact the App Developer:

If this ringtone was created using an app, then contact the App Developer. You'll likely find their Contact Us info in the App's site of the App Store.

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary
