is there any compatibility issues between an Ipad bought in Australia and a smart foil Keyboard bought in for exemple, Spain?

I want to order a smart keyboard from Spain so I can have a Spanish layout because I have to do a lot of typing in Spanish. I will attach it to an iPad Air 5th gen bought in Australia. Should I expect any issues of compatibility for being from different countries?

iPad Air, iPadOS 17

I would not expect any compatibility issues, Apple products are the same no matter where they are sold.

There are two spanish keyboards in case it matters

What is produced by which key is determined by the ios software, not by the keyboard. So your UK English keyboard will behave exactly like those pictured in the link above if you set the iOS settings to Spanish or Latin American (e.g. generating ñ when you hit the key next to L.)

In case it helps, any keyboard can behave exactly like a spanish layout by making appropriate settings in the iOS settings / general / keyboard / hardware keyboard. Also even without doing that the english keyboard can easily make all the extra characters needed for spanish.

Apple stores do not sell outside their own country, so you may need to buy from a non-apple source.

The reason is because I tried doing that with a pc keyboard and some apps have their own keyboard shortcuts and it overrides my own key shortcuts and settings.

I'm not sure an Apple keyboard would be different in that regard. All keyboards are essentially the same except for the printing on the keys. Any specific examples of problems you had with the pc keyboard?

I forgot to mention that the Pc has an English keyboard. For exemple, while using OmegaT in the computer it seemed over complicated to add accents and Ñ using the Uk English keyboard. So I decided I will be buying an Spanish keyboard for the iPad, and I won't have to deal with the problems of different settings layout for different apps. It's so much easier, faster and straightforward, it saves me a lot of time. I haven't order it yet because I don't know if there will be compatibility issues when I attach the iPad to the keyboard being those two from different countries.
