Why is my iOS not updated on my iPhone

Assuming your iPhone is what is listed in your tag line and it is an iPhone 6s, the highest iOS version you can run on your phone is iOS is 15.8. Google Chat requires an iPhone running at least iOS 15. So if you do indeed own a 6s, you need to update to iOS 15.8.

But if your tag line is incorrect and you instead own an iPhone 6, the maximum iOS version is can is iOS 12.5.7 and that would mean you cannot run Google Chat on such an old iPhone.

Go to Settings > General > About > Model and Version and report back what you actually have.

If you cannot use Wi-Fi, then use Ethernet. On the computer, you would connect it through Ethernet, going directly into your router.
