Can pages automatically add timestamps when a document is opened?
I journal quit often and put a date every time i open my pages document. I want pages to do this for me automatically. Is there a way to do this?

If this is an ongoing journal where you have previously entered date/time manually on opening the document, and you want Pages to automatically insert the current date for the new journal entry, then it remains a manual entry from the Insert menu. Date/Time entered in that manner are static, meaning they will not update in the future.
Pages tables have a now function that inserts the current date time in the desired formatting, but even as a single-cell gridless table, it will update to the current date/time everywhere that the table cell exists, so you cannot use this as past journal entries will all be updated to the current date/time when you open the Pages document.
