I received a message on iPhone asking to reset my password, is a Phishing or scam message?

I have received a message asking to reset my password and a link was given apple.com/recover do it before 7/12

what could be this ??

It is a very common scam. The link will not take you to an Apple Site, even though it may look like one. Just by tapping on it will let the scammers know that you are susceptiple to clicking their links and will send you more of them. If you tapped on it and entered your Apple ID and Password, you will need to change those. Here is more information about those phishing messages and how to report them:

That is a Scam:

Troubleshooting Getting Scams:



Did you Interact with it?

If you did not interact with this (touch any links), then you are fine. If you did interact with it, then that would be concerning, and you would need to secure your info? So, report back if your interacted with it.


Secure your Info:

Being someone knows you credentials, you should immediately secure your info. First, (A)verify your devices, and the (B)secure your account(s):

1. Verify your Devices:

Verify that all devices are logged in to your account, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support

then...

2. Modify your Credentials:

Having been stollen, someone lily has your credentials. So, by all means, modifying them.
