Apple Watch Control Center Access

Hey Apple - your latest update is cumbersome and troublesome. Instead of one easy and efficient swipe to access the control center (a feature I use often), I have to press the side button - not as convenient or easy but all too easy to press it just an instant too long and get the emergency center. If I do swipe up I get a screen that offers information already duplicated on easy to access screens or the crown. Why the change? What you had before was simple and useful. This is not. PLEASE go back to what you had before.

Neither I or anyone else on this forum (with VERY limited exceptions) works for Apple. But I am sure Apple would not make this change unless a lot of users complained about the way it was (probably inadvertently making a swiping motion with a loose sleeve perhaps). That being said, perhaps Apple could make this a user selectable option. You can make that or a similar suggestion using this link:

I have an Apple Watch SE using the modular watch face. When I tap the very top center of the face, on the walkie talkie icon, it opens the control center. I discovered this out of frustration before I read that the control center opens using the side button.
