Canon IP printer spitting blank envelopes in Ventura

Since updating to Ventura, I no longer can print envelopes on my Canon IP8720. Letter pages and cards print fine; it's not an ink issue.. When trying to print an envelope, the queue shows trying to print, then an error message shows up under the printer in System Settings. I had zero problems with Monterrey and wishing I had not upgraded. I've downloaded the current driver for the printer.
