Apple Watch charges fully even with open ring

Hi!

Since watchOS 10.1.1, with optimized charge limit activated, my watch charges at 100% even when open ring appears while charging. Does anybody know why?

Apple watch series 10 stops fast charging until I do a restart Several times in the last few weeks I have noticed that my watch is not fast charging when put on my apple puck. If I restart the watch the fast charging is back for a few days and then stops again. Restart the watch and it returns. Any suggestions? I am on the most recent apple watchOS 26.2.

Watch doesn't charge fully on watchOS10 Since updating to WatchOS10, I have notice my series 7 watch doesn't charge beyond 80% overnight due to the optimised charging. Before the update it would always be charged fully by the time I wake up. Now I just find it remains stuck at 80%.
