connect usb-c on macbook pro to usb on my old imac

I have not located a cord with usb-c, usb connections

USB is strictly a peripheral interface.


USB can NOT be used to make Network connections, such as computer-to-computer.


You can use:


• your home WIfI network, (but tends to be slow)

• an ethernet connection through your Router (preferred) -OR- a plain ethernet cable connection, computer-to-computer, if so equipped.

• ThunderBolt cable, using the 'ThunderBolt Bridge' Network device that will appears once the cable is connected properly.


¿why are you connecting your computers? for what purpose?
