Airpods pro pausing music

I recently began having problems of connection between my airpods pro and my iPhone while using my other apple products like ipad pro and MacBook . I regularly use them all the time but every once in awhile I get this thing when Im doing homework using my MacBook and Ipad while listening to music and all of a sudden the music stops and click the play button on my airpods and music from ipad or MacBook begins to play in AirPods. I tried disconnecting from both of these devices and use my iPhone but once Im listening again to music and start using the devices the AirPods again stop music and connect to either the ipad or MacBook which is pretty annoying. By the way, when I am at the gym or other place where I don’t have these devices I don’t seem to have any issues at all. I don’t know how to fix this.
