AirPods play music when not connected to anything

Anytime I’m not actually playing any music or not connected anything my AirPods just start playing this dorky elevator music the best way to describe it and won’t stop

Airpods pro pausing music I recently began having problems of connection between my airpods pro and my iPhone while using my other apple products like ipad pro and MacBook . I regularly use them all the time but every once in awhile I get this thing when Im doing homework using my MacBook and Ipad while listening to music and all of a sudden the music stops and click the play button on my airpods and music from ipad or MacBook begins to play in AirPods. I tried disconnecting from both of these devices and use my iPhone but once Im listening again to music and start using the devices the AirPods again stop music and connect to either the ipad or MacBook which is pretty annoying. By the way, when I am at the gym or other place where I don’t have these devices I don’t seem to have any issues at all. I don’t know how to fix this.

That is weird, have you tried to reset the AirPods to see if the issues persist?

AirPods (all generations) or AirPods Pro (all generations): Put the AirPods in their case, close the lid, then wait 30 seconds. Open the lid, then press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light flashes amber, then white.
