SOFTWARE UPDATE

Every time i try to update from mojave to sonoma. This appeared - An error occurred loading the update. I am using macbook air 2019. How can I solved this issue?

If you're really still on Mojave you're a few updates behind. So I reccommend updating in batches. Try and update to Monterey first, and after that to Sonoma. If you get the same error on Monterey, I recommend that you update to Catalina first.

You can also try and download the update from the safe mode if you keep facing issues:

Start up your Intel-based Mac in safe mode

  1. Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key until you see the login window.
  2. Log in to your Mac.
  3. You might be asked to log in again.
  4. On either the first or second login window, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar.
