WhatsApp Application not working on iPhone 11 Pro Max

I am using iPhone 11 Pro Max and currently on ios 17 version. My WhatsApp was freezing/ crashing so I took backup over iCloud and try to uninstall/ reinstall. Since than application doesn’t work it opens and shows WhatsApp logo in centre.

i have tried to update WhatsApp application at AppStore also uninstall and reinstall multiple time over Wi-Fi & mobile internet. It didn’t work. Please help

You will need to contact WhatsApp for help with their software, this is not an Apple product.

I think issue is with iPhone App Store app downloading cause WhatsApp application is not opening and if go to settings I don’t see much options in WhatsApp messenger but if I go to WhatsApp business application it has multiple options in settings. I am not sure can this be a download issue as it doesn’t download complete application and App Store is giving option to open application which doesn’t work.

Then Meta needs to fix their software to work with iOS 17. Apple is not responsible for fixing 3rd party apps.

I have tried that option and they are clue less, I think it’s related to iOS 17 update as WhatsApp application starts freezing after update.

Can use it over windows laptop. I am not able to login on windows as it ask to link through mobile via QR code and WhatsApp application is not working.

I think it’s duty of Apple to share details with software companies of an update in advance so that Apple customer doesn’t face problems. I think both Meta & Apple need to resolve as ultimately customers is facing problem over apple iOS and meta WhatsApp application.

They do, long before the new version becomes public. All app developers have access to the new update months before release.

No, Apple doesn't need to resolve anything. Again, it is not up to Apple to fix 3rd party apps, it is 100% on Meta to fix WhatsApp.

The App Store has absolutely nothing to do with the app not working.

I'm done with this conversation as you don't seem to accept that this is an issue with Meta's software and has nothing to do with Apple, your phone, the App Store, etc.

Idea of sharing message here was to update issue and to get some tips if anyone is facing the same and how they have resolved it but surprisingly some persons just want to divert issue between Apple and Meta, I didn’t bring those names here.

If anyone else facing same issue or can help please reply or don’t share any message here.

Don't know how long I have to suffer, never knew that updating an OS can creat so much problems in life.

Life without working iPhone and WhatsApp is not easy 😅
