I have a MacBook Pro with M1 Chip. For some reason, the Magsafe connector is blinking amber at connection and will not charge. I have thoroughly thoroughly cleaned the connector and the port. All to no avail- the machine simply will not charge.

This is a newer MacBook with the Apple M1 chip. I have disconnected and cleaned the connector and port. I have shut down the machine and restarted. I have plugged in to a different outlet. This problem just started a day or so ago-- the MacBook had been charging fine until then.
