“MajorBoardSearch” will damage your computer popup

”MajorBoardSearch” will damage your computer keeps popping up on my boyfriend’s computer and when he presses show in finder it won’t show anything. We’ve looked in the finder for it and have even deleted some stuff and we’ve found nothing. It keeps popping up every 5 seconds. Please help (MacBook Pro Retina, 15 inch, Mid 2015)

First, I see that clean your Mac is installed. Clean your Mac is software that does nothing useful, it only slows down the Mac. So my first reccomendation is to remove clean your mac

After that, there is most likely some malware on the Mac. Download the free version of malwarebytes anti malware and scan your Mac with it. If there is any malware, the program will find it and you can remove it
