Since the latest update to Sonoma was installed, I keep getting a lock screen on my Mac. I have gone into the Lock Screen settings and changed the screen saver start to "Never" and require password to "Never", yet it still keeps locking. I have also tried restarting my computer after changing the settings but no joy. I only use it at home and do not need a lock screen.
You've the setting for require a passcode at never but you still need to give up a password/?
That's correct. It just started today. I did have an issue yesterday where my passwords were out of sync, but finally got that corrected, but now the lock screen issue.
The "never" seems to have finally kicked in. Problem resolved!
I am having same issue on new 2023 iMac. I dont want to have to put my name and password in every time it goes to Lock Screen. I set it to never but still happening
