Final Cut Pro 10.7 - My Project is crashing

Hey there, I am new here because I never got an issue with this wonderful app. Recently, my project crashed. I had to use a backup, but when I try to edit in the timeline, again crashes. I have tried different tips like reset Final Cut Pro preferences, moving .flexolibrary, restarting the computer, moving the project to another library, copying all the clips, music, sfx, and paste them in another library, another project, but it is the same issue, it crashes. Is there a tip for this? My project (I don´t know if this is the answer) is a Film of 43 Minutes, 4K. It is weird because it was working all too well, but after that crash, it keeps crashing all time (3 days). My computer is an iMac 2020, 32GB RAM. Best regards!

I just select a clip and when I click on the color wheel, it crashes. I have searched that previous version and the library, but after all that stuff that I mentioned (trying to solve it by tutorials and tips) I haven't that. Is there something I can do? I exported what I have, and editing in my Macbook Pro, but, wow, it is so difficult when you don't have the cuts of the clips, music, sfx. Sorry if I did something wrong, I got panicked.

The problem is that if I choose a Backup, all the work I did since that backup until today, will be lost. Hope Apple can make a new update for FCPX.

I have crashed FCP 10.7 at least twenty times. Each time, an error report is generated, and they say that the report will get sent to Apple. So, they have plenty of traces to get going with.

Zip 10.7 then move the application to the trash. Copy the older version of the application from the Time Machine drive to Applications.

Preferences are the same. They’re on the system, and unless you trashed them they will be the same as before.

The application actually creates a backup before it updates the library. You’ll see this in the update process. This is only a data backup and contains no media of any kind.

I think since you downgraded to 10.6.10 you're getting the upgrade notice for 10.7.

Oh, it's just happening on Intel machines? Okay, got it. I'm using an M3 chip iMac. Are you using a computer with Apple silicon? If so, is FCP 10.7 pretty stable for you?

I have an M1 MBP. I haven’t crashed it yet. There are things I can do in color that crash the Intel MBP immediately.

That’s a system crash, a kernel panic. This is most commonly a hardware problem as applications cannot crash the system. I’d suggest taking it to an Apple Store if you can.
