I’m setting up my new iPad for my child and I selected her account but it’s been sitting on these screens forever now. I’ve turned off the iPad and restarted the whole process and every time I select her profile to set up the iPad with, it gets stuck here.
I did! I had to set it up as a regular iPad, not a child’s iPad, using her Apple ID login but I made sure she was on my family share as a child that I’m in charge of. So not using my phone to help set it up. I hope that makes sense!
So I think one of the options was a child account and I don’t choose that one, I chose the other option which was to set up as new iPad I think and then signed in with her Apple account but on my phone in settings, I had her set up on my family share as a child so I can set up restrictions
