Is it okay to use an Anti-Glare screen Protector on a MacBook Air M2?

Look, I know that it's not advisable to use a screen protector or any other accessory that comes in between the keyboard and the screen, but the thing is that I've got a really high screen time and my doctor has advised me to limit 'BLU Rays' because of which I've been using an Anti-Glare screen protector which claims that It blocks those rays. Is it actually true? If not, I might as well remove it.

PS: I had used my mac without a screen protector for a day or two when it arrived and just after 2-3 hrs of use, my eyes had gotten red so that is why I'm concerned as to remove it or not.

I would not use it, it can cause damage to your screen. I would use night shift to turn down the blue light instead

Use Night Shift on your Mac - Apple Support

There are also anti glare glasses you can buy to limit the exposure to blue light
