Any way to disable annoying side search button on Apple TV remote?

The slightest touch enables it this is really annoying and now it goes to search and no way to back out of it.

There is not, at this time. Adjust your grip, or else you may give feedback to Apple about this. Feedback - Apple TV - Apple

… and no way to back out of it.

Double-click the TV button to go to the App Switcher, when you can return to the previous screen.

You can redefine the button to display the main menu. See Set the TV button destination on Apple TV - Apple Support (SA) and change it to Home Screen.

t’s not my grip that is causing the problem, if the remote bumps anything, like the phone it goes into search. Ahhhh the double clicks works….thank you….I was about to crazy glue the button in place. I appreciate the tip….thank you
