Where are my files?

If there are at least 380,000 people asking the same question, I would think that Apple would recognize there is a problem with their system.

I used Turbocad to save a bunch of drawings in various formats to allow transferring to another program.

They are somewhere but cannot be found within the program I wish to transfer them to.

What is the problem?

Not sure why you have narrowed this down to this issue being a "problem with their (Apple's) system."

Regardless, here are some potential questions/answers to your "What is the problem?" question:

Are you sure that you saved the drawings in a format that is compatible with the program you're trying to transfer them to? You mention that you are using TurboCAD ... but not the program that you are trying to transfer them to.

It could just be a matter of locating the files on your computer. Open TurboCAD and go to the "File" menu, then select "Open" or "Import." This should allow you to browse your computer's file system to find and select the drawings you want to transfer.

You may want to consider exporting them from TurboCAD again. Double-check the destination folder when saving or exporting to make sure you're saving them in a location you can easily access.

Use your Mac's Spotlight search function to look for the drawings by their file names.

It may be possible they might have been accidentally deleted or moved. Check your Mac's Trash to see if they might be there.
