What is the difference between "App Store" and "Mac App STORE"? Am app I wanted to download/purchase shows both, which do I chose??

It is an app that can run on all my devices

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.1

The App Store is for iPhone and iPad users. The Mac APP Store is for Mac users. While Apple Silicon Mac users can run some iPhone apps on their Macs it’s not always the best experience.


Bottom line, if you want an app for your iPhone use that store. If you want the Mac version of the same app use the Mac store. The apps are not interchangeable.
