I purchased my ipad pro 11" on september 2022. I've been taking a good care of my ipad since then. My ipad was okay until today when i realised that there is a corrosion that is happening on the back of my ipad. And it is so bad. Like 4 different spots of corrosion is happening there.
What should I do? Can Apple refurbish my ipad? Or change it?
Have you been using your iPad on a damp surface - or has the iPad been allowed to get wet or be exposed to moisture?
Insofar as can be diagnosed from a photo, your iPad casing shows cosmetic damage to the anodised surface treatment of the aluminium chassis. Cosmetic damage will not affect functioning of your iPad - and neither will it be covered by the limited device warranty.
If you have benefit of an active AppleCare+ plan (additional cost - optional within 60-days of initial device purchase) your iPad has coverage for accidental damage and non-warranty repairs for the period of cover.
NB: A fitted case, designed for your iPad, will both preserve its cosmetic finish and protect from incidental damage.
