My iPod touch is now on iOS 9.3.5 and it seems as though there is no longer a way to deselect shuffle. I have read the historical community solutions but the screen presentation has changed. see image below. When I touch the shuffle button I just get a reshuffle.
Has anyone discovered a solution (apart from a stiff G&T)

If you click in the title of the song (Blue Jay Way in the image above) a full image of the album cover appears and the Shuffle toggle is at the bottom of the screen. Not intuitive but once found never forgotten. A bit like .....
