Old Issue Same Problem Entering Required 6 Digit Verification Code
Where do you actually enter the required 6 digit verification code whether using Apple TV 3rd gen box or any old Apple device? Ever since Apple required 2-factor authentication on my 2008 MacBook Pro I have never been to add the required code no matter what. I have tried everything including reading the suggestions here. So I gave up on the MacBook Pro which is too bad it still works good for the basics.
Now I have the same issue with my Apple TV. Apple required a new password which I did and it works on my newer computers and iPhone's without a problem but Apple TV wants a code entered and I do not know how to enter it correctly. Again, I have tried all different ways and it will not work. It tells me Apple ID or Password is wrong but it is not as I said it works with all of my Apple products except for MacBook Pro. I wish there was a way to turn off 2-fact authentication but I know I cannot. It has caused all kinds of problems and spoiling the enjoyment of the 2 devises that do not properly.
Is there someone that can tell me in detail how to enter the code? Do you immediately enter it after the password with no spaces and do you put the space after the third number like the alert shows?
Thanks in advance for your help.
