Ever since I updated I can’t check my email. It just spins on checking mail unless I power down my phone and restart- I have to do this all day to check mail and often it happens when trying to go on the internet as well. Is my only option uninstalling my email? I actually tried but it was stuck on deleting email spin for so long I quit.

I had the same issues on my iPad (iPad Pro 2020 model) after updating to iOS 17.2. My iPhone (15 Pro Max) updated and worked OK.
I went into Settings>Mail,
Went to the impacted account,
Toggled off the "Mail" switch,
Closed out off Settings,
Opened the Mail App (obviously the mail account was no longer present),
Closed the Mail App,
Re-opened Settings>Mail,
Went to the impacted account and toggled on the "Mail" switch,
Closed out of Settings,
Re-opened Mail App, it re-established itself and worked correctly.
Now to see if the fix actually sticks.
I too installed 17.2.1 and lost my exchange emails. i then removed that account but now it does not allow me to add it back in. I am able to enter my email address and then when i hit enter it states verifying then send me back to the initial setup screen.
No i cant even get it installed back on the phone
please help it is version 13 phone.
Same issue here and 17.2 is the iOS. Just updated today and same thing, can’t access email.
Same here , none of my email accounts now work through the mail app, and deleting them and re adding is not working either.
Emails will open in my apple mail app (which is my Maine email app) but tells me I have network setting issues and forces me to hit a “load content” button to show parts of the email.

IOS 17.2 is definitely out. I have it and others do. It came out 2 or 3 days ago. I didn’t have any issue with my Apple email app.

Anyone missing the option to change built in mail apps passwords? I needed to update my Exchange email account, and where you normally go under mail, accounts, exchange changing password is missing.
It's hit or miss but I do it quite often for users I support with our 90 day password policy. I just noticed this morning that it was completely gone though.
Tested this with the cover I use as maybe is the magnet acting up with the screen lock.

Im hv issue on the latest ios 17.2.1 work at XSmsx about Siri cant hear my command, its like pop ups then can't running the command, then sound is become louder when the notification is coming.
It is for the update 17.2.1 and I am no longer getting gmail notifications on my phone.
I tried many of the recommendations for this problem, and this is the one that worked for me. Thank you, Jonathan.
