Now Playing app functions

Before the latest watch upgrade all I had to do was swipe up to see which apps were running, then from there I could see the Now Playing app/widget. That app/widget had a Play icon with forward and backward icons on each side. I frequently listen to audiobooks and used that happy little app/widget to pause/play and forward/replay sections.

Where did that function go?

FWIW, there is a Now Playing widget, but it’s buried and it doesn’t have play functions as previous version.

Am I looking in the wrong place to access play functions through the watch? Can anyone help?

Thanks for posting this, I appreciate your effort. However, it doesn't answer my question.

I am able to access the Now Playing app. Unfortunately, the controls for play/pause/ff/rw are no longer there. (See screenshot below).

Does anyone know how to access play/pause/ff/rw controls from apple watch (post update 10)?
