Cannot upgrade iCloud

Hi. I am out of storage on the 200GB plan and have been trying to upgrade to the 2TB. When I go through the steps, it sometimes comes up with a box saying I am already an Apple Music member, and then I do not get any further before it returns me to details of the 200GB plan. I have tried it on my iMac and my iPhone. On the iPhone I have tried signing out and in again of the Media & Purchases. I have macOS 13.6.1, which should be sufficient according to what I read. My username and password are correct. I have no further ideas, but it is getting pretty annoying as I have stuff that is not getting backed up onto cloud storage, and despite being happy to purchase the upgrade, it seems I am stuck. Any advice welcome.

iMac 21.5″, OS X 10.10

Thanks. Sadly, did not help. Took me to the same place, and after selecting the upgrade I want, entering password, confirming etc. it still comes back with a box saying 'you are already an Apple Music member', before returning me to the iCloud details of the plan I am currently on. I have no idea what it means to say I am already an Apple Music member; nor why that should affect my ability to upgrade; nor if there is anything else that would usually prevent the upgrade I want.

Hey there!


If you're having trouble upgrading to a new iCloud+ plan, you can initiate the upgrade from iCloud.com, then continue on your Mac or iPhone.



To get started, visit https://www.icloud.com/. Log in, then scroll down to the bottom and choose "Your Plan".




Next, in the "How to Change Your iCloud Plan" section, choose "Continue on Device".



On your Mac and iPhone, you should see a notification prompting you to change your iCloud plan. Click it, or tap it, and follow the on-screen steps.
