why won’t my apple pencil 2nd gen charge or show up in bluetooth devices anymore?

I got an Apple Pencil a week ago and it stopped working a few days ago and I don’t know why. I’ve tried restarting my iPad and forgetting the pencil in Bluetooth cuz it wasn’t charging or connecting, but now it doesn’t show up at all. I know how it’s supposed to charge, I’ve used one before. I’ve never dropped the pencil or my iPad
