Can anyone recommend a "Date Capable" alarm app for iPhone?

You might also try playing with Settings>Notifications for whatever app you're looking at. You want to make sure the notifications are set to Banner Style>Persistent.

Also, looked at Alarmed by Yoctoville. It has settings to make it VERY persistent.

But, it sounds as if what your looking for is something that takes over the entire screen with the notification. I just don't think that's possible.

What does "date capable" mean in this context? I know of an app that will set off alarms based on calendar entries, it's called Calarm. I'm sure there are others as well.

Well, take a look at the app I suggested above. I know there are also others that do the same type of thing. But, you're probably going to have to try them out to see if they do exactly what you need.
