Macbook M1 Pro Fans running constantly at near max capacity

I've had this laptop for over a year now with no issues. 64 gb, m1. Absolutely love this laptop.

Now all of a sudden, the fans start to spin at more 4k-5k RPMs (very, very loud). This happens immediately on login, when I have nothing running, etc.

I tried doing a clean install of Mac OS Ventura, Mac OS Sonoma. I have run diagnostics as well, nothing came up. However, I know this isn't normal behavior. I never heard the fans up until a few weeks ago. Even if I quit all my applications, the fans continue to go insane. The noise is so much I have to wear earphones just to focus on my work.

I have two of these laptops, one of them from my work. This is only happening on my personal laptop. So I know for a fact this is very, very not normal.

I'm okay with the fans running if I'm doing some heavy rendering work - but if all I have is a few firefox tabs open? That's unacceptable for such an expensive machine.

I went to the Apple Store twice (I have Apple Care). They're telling me this is normal behavior. I know it is NOT.

I've attached a screenshot of my Activity monitor and Macs Fan Control.

Has anyone run into this issue? How were you able to resolve? Apple Support has been very disappointing.

Wanted to give y'all a quick update - they finally listened to me and they sent it back and had the motherboard replaced.

Haven't heard the fan since I got it back yesterday. Hopefully it stays that way!

Thanks again for all the help, you guys have been great.
