Apple Music cannot search iTunes Store

There was a conversation last year that talked about how the iTunes store is hidden in Apple Music on OSX.

I already had iTunes stores unhidden and visible. You still cannot search the iTunes Store.

The search bad only searches my local library. At one point in the never ending saga that is Apple Music.

I mean its over a year and nobody at Apple has bothered to look at the issue. I mean I don't mind buying my music from elsewhere....it's up to you if you care about Apple users enough to fix this and in the meantime Tim C might like to know you aren't capitalising on business synergies!

No issue to be looked at or resolved. The Music App can search through the iTunes Store if you know what to do.

To search the iTunes store, enter a search term in the search box at the top left corner of the Apple Music app window.

Then from the results page on the right, select the iTunes Store tab on the top right corner. If the search tabs are not visible, click on the < arrow on the top left to return to a previous results screen. You may need to click the < icon several times to make the tabs appear.

Also, threats don't work here. If you want to buy music from someone else, that suits your needs better than the iTunes Store, then by all means do so. We have no investment in your use of iTunes here. This is a user to user forum, not Apple Support.
