apple tv 4k aerial screensaver only shows downtown la photo even though I have multiple themes selected to show as well as download new video daily. I’ve seen others with this same issue but no solution. Could it be storage space? I have. 32gb unit where my apps account for just over 1gb. What am I missing?
Try setting the screen saver update feature to Daily. Then it should get one new clip every day (every day that the unit is in use, with idle time to do downloads).
Else try setting a non-Aerial screen saver, invoke that once, then set it back to Aerial. That is the closest thing to a screen saver reset, without doing a full Apple TV reset.
Thanks but I’ve tried all of those and no change. I also did a full restart and running the latest software. I have not gone as far as a full reset yet. I’d like that to be a last resort scenario. I’ve read others with the same issue but no actual solution.

Or is it because I have video format set to 4K SDR and not all of the videos are in n that format?
All of the clips are available in all of the formats.
But if you recently changed this setting, then possibly previous downloads might not be deemed suitable for the different setting.
I did change video format recently. Will new compatible versions download eventually since they are all available in all formats? I changed to 4K HDR with match rate on.
