pin for eSIM?
I tried to set a PIN for my 15 Pro's eSIM (iOS 17.2). BAD IDEA. Cell service locked up and instructed me to get a "PUK code". I couldn't get help online (couldn't call them) I went to a T-Mobile shop and the guy started changing settings on my phone- guess he never dealt with this. Then he changed my wifi network and went into the back room (left the phone with me). I asked him what he was doing with the network named "data transfer" and couldn't get an explanation. It didn't feel right so I left and tried to do it from my wife's phone with limited success- I ended up with 3 lines using the same phone number. It worked but failed later in the day. Back to SOS.
So what now. Does a PIN do anything besides breaking cellular?
