Icloud backup error?

I backed up my iCloud prior to resetting my iPhone, my iPhone was set up to sync, my passwords and keychain were on. I went to reset my iPhone and when I went to backup my iCloud it wasn’t there. Oddly I can see that all my photos and messages are saved to the iCloud, whenever I try to sync things it will ask me for my old passcode, when I put it in it comes up with an error message aswell, it says (Verification Failed

There was an error verifying the passcode of your iPhone) Any ideas what is going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
